A Unique Path

What do you want to do? What's in your heart? What moves you, inspires you to go forward? What do you feel drawn to DO?
Listen carefully.
Do the things in your heart, the things that you feel the Father is drawing you to. Do it the way HE tells you, the way HE leads you. It may not be the way you think...and definitely will not "look" like what you think it should look like.
God has unique plans for you. He has many children with many different gifts and strengths. We are all called to be a light in this world, but what does that look like? Business people, artists, doctors, students, craftsmen, missionaries, preachers, teachers, and so forth. The path to complete our individual missions will not all take the same shape or form. Some may walk a more traditional appearing path, and some may do something new. But you know what? It's ok. Do what you are to do in the way HE shows you to do it.
The reality is, your path may not look like what you or others think it should look like. Some cannot get past the cookie cutter mentality, that a person pursuing a greater purpose should always fit into this neat little box. When God speaks to your heart to do something, He may not lead you to pursue it by way of the common path. Your path may not look like anything anyone has ever seen. You may not fit into the mold of what you may think you need to fit into.
But that's OK! You have a unique mission. You may never understand why your path is different, why you shouldn't pursue it in a traditional and safe manner. Rest in the fact that our Father knows all, and may not reveal all the plans at once, but give you one piece of the puzzle at a time. At that point, have faith and move FORWARD. Don't fear doing something different and off the wall, embrace it! Be tenacious and bold enough to do away with any preconceived ideas; Run YOUR race! Complete YOUR journey, and carry the mission to completion.
